Keys to a Successful Rave Party
Planning a rave party is almost as much fun as attending one! There are so many cool rave gear and rave toys to choose from that you are sure to find items that will make any raver proud. If you keep to a few of the basics, you will create an amazing room designed to keep all your friends dancing the night away!
A successful rave party includes loud danceable music, colorful clothing, rave lights and perhaps even a disco ball or two. Rave lights really add to the entire effect and help show off the outfits. There are many types of lights you’ll want to include to make the experience something else!
The main light for the party can be any funky light you want. Lamps set in the corner of the room work very well. Typically, it’s a low light with bulbs of a certain color – a lot of people prefer black but any color will do. Stringing rope lights or Christmas lights around the walls is a great effect especially if they are blinking. A strobe light is a must and if it’s a bigger room, have two. Adding a fog machine and disco balls will complete the effect as all the colors in the room will be reflected.
Have a basket at the door filled with glow sticks or glow-in-the-dark headbands to offer your guests. If your guests don’t have a lot of glow-in-the-dark clothing, you could also put glow-in-the-dark fabric markers in the basket.
Party extras including glow-in-the-dark straws, ice cubes, sunglasses, rings etc., add to the fun! Be creative, turn up the music, turn on therave lights and you are guaranteed a raving success!
