On Your Way To Your First Rave Party?
A rave party can't be beat. With lots of music, bright flashing lights, and all your friends, you are absolutely going to have a blast! But first, you need to dress the part of the raver and find some rave clothes. These clothes will help to express yourself in a way that truly fits your unique personality.
Rave parties get very hot. Since you will be dancing most of the night away you want to choose raver clothes which keep you light and airy and won't cause you to overheat. Halter-tops, or smaller t-shirts are a great choice. And, if you purchase equalizer or flashing t shirts, you will fit right in. Choose bright colors - the louder the better.
When putting on your make-up, remember sweat is not your friend and expect to do a lot of sweating. Keep it simple. You many want to add lots of body glitter and a shimmer to your look. Oh, and if its fluorescent shimmer, it's really going to show off!
Tie your hair back to keep it from getting in the way. A loose bun, French braids or pigtails will do the trick.
Adorn yourself with lots of plastic shiny beads. Around your neck and wrists. Make them colorful and if you can find some that are flashing, even better.
Keep your bottoms loose fitting so you can move. Hip huggers, which show a little midriff is totally cool!
And remember comfortable shoes. Most folks wear flats or even sneakers because the last thing you want is to be sitting on the side-lines because your feet hurt. You want to be out there moving...all night. If you want to work with shoes you've already got, try some LED shoelaces.
Express yourself. Be loud and adventurous. That is what the party rave vibe is all about!
